Jack Olshansky, Special Consultant has had a distinguished career in the medical technology field starting as a salesman for Baxter Laboratories (NYSE: BAX). He then joined AHSC, a predecessor of McGaw Laboratories. Jack was part of the initial management group when McGaw Laboratories, with sales of $22 million, was formed by AHSC in 1962. Jack also served as President of the Inspiron Division of C.R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR), President of a KABI/Cutter Laboratories joint venture and Vice President and General Manager of the Medical Division of Cutter Laboratories, a division of Miles, Inc. (acquired ultimately by IVAX Corporation - AMEX: IVX). He joined Montgomery Securities in 1983 as Co-Manager of the Healthcare Corporate Finance Group. Jack was a founding General Partner of both Montgomery Medical Ventures-I and Montgomery Medical Ventures-II. He has been responsible for such successful companies as Catheter Technology, Medstone International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEDS), Northfield Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLD) and Omni-Flow. Jack assists the Principals in the sourcing and evaluation of medical investments and serves, from time to time, as either a Director or Chairman of these investments.
